Lord's Prayer (A New Interpretation)
Our dear God in heaven,
Your name is holy.
We pray that your presence,
And your heartfelt desires
Will be just as real on earth
As they are in heaven.
Forgive us, O Lord, when
We have mistreated others,
And give us the strength to
Forgive those who have mistreated us.
Keep us from straying off the path
You have laid for us,
And keep us apart from evil.
You live in eternity, O God,
In all of your glory.
Amen.
